I hired Ryan for a 8 episode documentary on Nevada basketball called Running with the Pack. It was a very intense and demanding shoot schedule, and Ryan nailed every aspect! He lit and shot interviews, shot all games and was responsible for all of the creative broll which is crucial in any documentary. Always a step ahead of me, easy to work with and just gets it. My Reno camera operator was out of town volunteer firefighting (what a hero!) and I needed a backup to fill in and record a hearing in the State of Nevada vs Stewart Handte for my organization, Our Nevada Judges. We worked with Ryan to shoot The Great Reno Balloon Race's 2017 event. This task is no easy feat, as we have to work with changes in lighting—from dark to light skies—and moving objects (hot-air balloons).
